Reiki Energy Healing

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that channels energy through the hands to promote balance and wellness. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and often used for stress reduction, emotional clarity, and physical healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Reiki Training

An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an “attunement” given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy” to improve one’s health and enhance the quality of life.Reiki training is usually broken into three levels, each building on the one before:

  1. Level 1 – (Beginner Level):
You learn how to feel and work with energy. This level focuses on self-healing and hands-on healing for others. You receive four attunements, which open your energy channels so you can start using Reiki immediately.
  2. Level 2 – (Practitioner Level):
Learn Reiki symbols that strengthen the energy and allow you to do distance healing—sending healing energy across space and time. You also deepen your understanding and start working more confidently with others.
  3. Level 3 – (Master/Teacher Level):
This is the most advanced level. You learn the Master symbol, explore Reiki at a more spiritual level, and (if you choose) learn how to teach and attune others. It’s as much about personal growth as it is about healing.

Each level includes a mix of theory, practice, and attunements,
